Advisory Committee

Our International Advisory Committee consists of about 20 European and non-European experts in the field of Virtual Campuses, each carefully selected on the basis of their experience. The Committee members are invited to comment on the findings of the Re.ViCa research during several Key Meetings that will be organised during the lifetime of the project.

Key Meetings

During the Key Meetings we will involve European and non-European experts (from South Africa, Australia, Canada and Latin America) to share their view on European initiatives as well as their own experience. This view from outside the partnership and the continent itself will be enormously helpful in identifying strengths and weaknesses common to European initiatives and to assess Europe's efforts in the light of experiences in totally different cultural contexts. It will shed a light on fundamental issues that perhaps the European partnership takes for granted and/or might suggest as daring but successful solutions to common problems. Our findings will be validated through these key meetings where dialogue between all stakeholders is stimulated.

The first of these Key Meetings took place on Wednesday 11th June 2008 from 10h00 to 17h00 in the Centro Cultural de Belém, Lisbon, Portugal.

The second Key Meeting took place on Wednesday 3rd December from 10h00 to 17h00 in the Hotel Intercontinental, Berlin, Germany.

The third Key Meeting took place on Monday 8th June 2009 from 18h00 to 20h30 in the MECC, Maastricht, the Netherlands.
